home-sick-homeArgh~ my computer crashed right before my computing test. had just downloaded Dev++ to get hands on practice. now all i get to practice with is pen and paper, and god knows if what i wrote even works.i had let down someone(s) very important to me. i lost their trust some time ago. but i hope to earn them again. it's nice to go back to your home and be able to say: "I'm home!". i never use to appreciate that. now i really cherish it. i am ashamed to say i get homesick in hostel, but i won't deny it. the first semester in hall was so eventful for me i tend to forget i have a home to go back to. i took part in too many activities to allow me ample time to stay home. however, i stayed home throughout the recent long break from school. and it allowed me to experience the life with someone nagging at me again. it was then that i realised how i missed it. hence nowadays i like to call home, even when i got no reason to do so i make up excuses. like yesterday, i called home to tell mommy my 'big business' is green in colour. i can't wait to go home for the weekend again... hong kong souvenirsAhTing just came back from HongKong where she bought a lot of presents from the Disneyland there. The cookies are all very exquisite and nicely wrapped. The tins are also very cute. The red and green slippers color combination looks like watermelon... but it's actually cotton slippers that you can wear at home like socks and the underneath got rubber spots for anti-slip function. filet-o-fish in ketchup been a long time since i had McDonald's. enjoyed every mouthful of the filet-o-fish burger. then came the fries. gosh. why can't i get tired of McDonald's like my friends?! then i can save myself some sin. imagine having McDonald's when you just recovered from a bout of flu. *whines* "I'm loving it..." s/u crystalsreceived an email from the MSE department telling all students that it is time now to consider if we cannot make it for a particular module and then decide whether to make it a Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory subject.some more i Monday just forgot to take an online test for Crystals. again. so i definitely was considering the S/U option. however i was very confused because the module was my prescribed elective and i don't know if it will affect my GPA. so i emailed my mentor, who forwarded the question to the prof in charge. here's the reply i received: Dear Wang Wang, You can’t convert the PU to UE after you’ve select it under S/U option. If you obtain Unsatisfactory, the AUs is not counted, no grade is given (you’ll be given a “U”) and will not affect your CGPA. You have to reselect a subject to read next semester or repeat the subject to obtain the required AU. goodness! the moment i saw this i straightaway submitted the S/U form online for crystals. i was so relieved i was almost in heaven. Marsya full month  then there was this baby Max that only knows how to say "mum mum" (meaning eat in our baby language) and he is half English. and he won't cry. and even though he is only 11 months old, he is very big and meaty. when i carry him, it felt like i was carrying a very heavy bolster. very nice to hug! ;p "not to forget our song kok Ah Ming." still in new year moodcame back hall early in the morning yesterday with ZiJian.Ah Mel hit her head while alighting the cab yesterday... then she not feeling well. complained about giddiness. so her mother asked her take cab back to hall. ended up she not feeling well in the afternoon still go out to Jurong Point with ZhiSiong to watch movie. today during my lesson she messaged me say she going medical center. luckily our breaks were together so i accompanied her there. but the stupid doc don't let me accompany her into the room, don't understand the reason also. anyways, he was not very useful as he say should be nothing wrong but to be careful asked Mel to go for an x-ray at Raffles Place. too bad i Friday got lesson until pretty late. so in the end she had Li Yan accompany her to the x-ray center.
