Bangkok trip - day 1
Plane ride over was quite enjoyable. The air steward was nice to us. He tried to be friendly and asked if I and ZJ were from HK. This is because our plane ride is only stopping over at Thailand for awhile before travelling further to HK. I think he quite zai compared to those I met in my previous plane ride to China.
Our first taxi ride to our apartment from the airport… Totally crammed!!! And I was made to sit on ZJ's lap while Karen, Eugenia and my sis squeeze into the rest of the back seat. Zhaoru was the one enjoying solitary space next to the taxi uncle.
We had "good food" the first night here. Supposedly… but the food all turned out quite spicy, not suitable for people who don't take to spicy food like me. This dinner cost similar to when you're dining in Singapore. It's pretty expensive considering we're in Thailand where our exchange rate is like S$1.00 to 22Baht.
Our first night we had full Thai foot massage that in the end included our back, shoulders and neck within the hour of service. Mine was super young, while ZJ enjoyed the most experienced uncle's massage. I swear mine was out to make me laugh or pain… because I went back to apartment to discover I got blue-black.
